State of Kind is a social campaign against racism based on video interviews with people from the metropolitan city of Berlin.
The aim is to define and contextualise terms that are often used inappropriately and are offensive.
The project was realised during my studies at the Universität der Kunste in Berlin in cooperation with Renk Magazin, which gave us the opportunity and the tools to realise it.
Together with my colleagues Sharon Helms, Sophie Bohmeier and Yumi, we created an instagram campaign to raise awareness of correct language in order to recognise words and stereotypes that can be racist.
The videos are shot almost fully in German and English.

The interviews report accounts of racism by recognised public figures with a social following. These included singers, writers, influencers or disseminators more generally on politics or social issues such as BRKN, Anuthida Ploypetch and Ipek Ipekcioglu.
Each of them described one or more terms of a language considered racist, trying to contextualise their use and define their origins more specifically.

I was specifically in charge of the graphic design and corporate design: logo, typography for the paper, animated typography in the video interviews, instagram posts and the definition of the report describing everything in it.
