“Accepting the most pronounced imperfections and the most uncomfortable truths. Catching the look in the mirror being able to recognised yourself without losing in vanity, having the courage to consciously embrace what is proper your body”

Editorial project realised during the Visual Communication course at the IUAV University of Venice. The book collects stories on the concept of aesthetic beauty told only through images.
“My idea of beauty is based on acceptance”

The mirror is the element through which beauty is told. The process of acceptance takes place through a gradual recognition, an opening towards oneself and a return to the original photos.
The printed photographs were analogue edited by wrinkling them and immersing them in water.
